Pack 1 and Pack 2 Year 2 Spelling Activity Cards include all 64 common exception words that children need to learn. Common exception words are spellings that are spelled without using the normal spelling rules and words that children can't spell using their phonics knowledge. These 64 common exception words commonly come up in children's weekly spellings, alongside spellings that use certain spelling rules.
