A teacher designed phonics cards game, created to make practising phonics exciting! A fun and interactive resource to help children become confident with phase 2 phonics sounds. 
 
Phase 2 is usually taught to children in Pre-School/Nursery and Reception but no matter your child's age, re-capping phonics is essential for spelling and reading. Sound Hunt Phase 2 is therefore recommended for ages 3+.
 
The game can be played a number of ways including:
Split the deck and get rid of your cards as fast as possible. The players say the name of the object or thing that matches the sound at the top of their card. The player to get rid of all of their cards first is the winner. 
Turn the deck over and try and get as many cards as fast as possible, the first to say the name of the object or thing that matches the sound at the top wins the card. The player with the most cards at the end is the winner.
